Omar Itani:
Co-founder
Omar is a leader with a passion for innovation in the automation industry. With a career spanning over two decades, Omar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at the helm of our company. Over the years, he worked with multiple leading manufacturers, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of automation and engineering.
Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Omar pursued further education, earning his MBA and transitioning into the dynamic world of management consulting at one of the leading firms in the Middle East and North Africa region.
However, it was Omar’s passion that led him back to his roots as an engineer. Fueled by the exciting fast-paced changes in the industry, Omar seized the opportunity to co-found Automation Lab in 2021. It was an exciting juncture, marked by the industry’s transition towards electric vehicles and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business
Kamel Itani:
Co-Founder
Kamel is driven by a fervent passion for innovation and problem-solving. His professional journey began in 2009 as a controls engineer, where he embarked on a path dedicated to shaping the future of technology in the automotive industry.
Kamel immersed himself in the intricacies of automotive systems, honing his skills in designing and implementing control algorithms that optimized production’s performance and throughput.
Kamel’s relentless pursuit of excellence fueled his desire to innovate, leading him to co-found Automation Lab, a platform dedicated to driving technological advancements through automation.
Today, Kamel continues to be a driving force in the realm of automation, leveraging his expertise and vision to create transformative solutions that address the evolving needs of industries worldwide. His journey serves as a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of innovation.
Kamel holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa.
